School Lunches

Cucina IFG

We are delighted to share that our school meals are provided by Cucina IFG (Impact Food Group), part of a trust-wide initiative to ensure consistent, high-quality meals across all our schools.

Flexible Meal Choices

Families can now choose how and when their child has a school dinner. Parents can mix and match between school dinners and packed lunches, selecting meals only on the days that suit their family. There is no fixed weekly commitment, giving families complete control.

Ordering and Payments

All meals are ordered and paid for through the Cucina IFG mobile app. To order a hot school lunch you must pre book in advance and make your selection via the app:

  • Pre-book meals in advance

  • Select your child’s menu choices

  • Switch between packed lunches and school dinners on different days

  • Make secure, simple payments

This system provides flexibility, transparency, and convenience, making school meals easier to manage for families.

Packed Lunches from Home

You may choose to provide your child with a packed lunch.

As a school, we want to promote healthy eating choices for all our children and we have produced this guidance with the aim of helping and supporting parents and children to make those healthy choices when bringing a packed lunch from home. It was written with help from our Pupil Parliament.

We would ask that all families ensure they follow the guidance given but particularly in ensuring packed lunches do not contain nuts or sweets and that children only bring one treat item. Our lunchtime staff will let you know, via a note in the lunch box, if there are any foods that shouldn’t be there.

Sustainability at Lunchtime

We have implemented ‘Plastic-Free Fridays’ which are designed to promote the reduction in the amount of single-use plastic used in packed lunches. We have a team of litter-pickers who monitor the school grounds at lunchtime, ensuring that no litter is left behind.
